At the end of this library instruction session:

1. The student will be able to access relevant database resources and identify the differences between them in terms of access and content.
2. The student will be able to identify services available through the library.
3. The student will be able to understand the benefits of utilizing Boolean logic when searching.
4. The student will be able to utilize filters for limiting their search results.

CLASS DESCRIPTION: This is a practice skill course for majors designed to acquaint students with the basic tool (interviewing) of general social work practice, with an emphasis upon self-awareness, communication with diverse populations, and skill development in engaging and assessing client systems through the interview process. Restricted to Social Work and Pre-Social Work majors.
