InterLibrary Loan and Document Delivery are two NSU Libraries services available at no cost to the NSU faculty, staff, or students. Whether borrowing books, articles, and a/v materials from other libraries or requesting NSU library items for delivery between the two NSU libraries, these services are here to support your needs.
Our NSU Interlibrary Loan service provides access to materials from other libraries or those not held in the NSU Libraries collections. ILL services are available to all students, faculty, and staff in the NSU community at no charge.
Interlibrary Loan requests can be submitted and tracked electronically on or off campus through your ILL account, providing secure access, convenience, and expedient processing and delivery.
To login and place an Interlibrary Loan request, use the account link below. If you are searching for items in our Discovery catalog interface, simply click the "Request via Interlibrary Loan" button to create a request.
Document Delivery (DD) provides intra- and inter-campus delivery of circulating materials (books and other media) and articles held at either NSU library location. These are items owned by NSU Libraries. DD services are available to all students, faculty, and staff of the NSU community at no charge.
Item requests can be made through the NSU Discovery Catalog and can be delivered to the specified campus location. Look for the "Place Hold" button in the item record. Additionally, requests can be made on circulating items that are checked out. This will place a hold on the item. Users will be contacted via email when the requested items are ready. In Tahlequah, they can be picked up at the Interlibrary Loan desk at the south entrance. In Broken Arrow, they can be picked up at the second floor circulation desk.
All article requests are sent electronically.
For additional research assistance, NSU librarians offer consultations. These person-to-person instructional sessions cover basic to advanced searching in the Library Discovery and database searching. To make an appointment for a consultation with a librarian, use the link below.
