This page will show you the steps for finding articles on SWOT analysis in Business Source Elite.
Open the Business Source Elite link below:
Indexing and selected full text coverage for more than 1,000 business publications dating back to 1985.
After Business Source Elite opens, click on "Advanced Search" (if not already selected).
Type "swot analysis" in the search box, then run the search.
The search will retrieve a greater number of articles than those found in other databases, such as ABI/Inform Global and Business Abstracts with Full Text. (Tens of thousands vs. a few hundred) However, other databases may provide useful articles not found in Business Source Elite.
To search "SWOT analysis" as a valid subject heading in Business Source Elite:
Type "SWOT analysis" in the search box
Change the drop-down menu adjacent to the top search box from "Select a field (optional)" to "SU Subject Terms"
Run the search.
This approach will decrease the number of results, but might retain items that are more useful than those found in the keyword search.
