About Us

The primary mission of the Library is to support the educational, research, and outreach objectives of the University by:

  • organizing and providing access to information resources, both on-site and through remote access, and
  • promoting the necessary condition for their effective use, organization, and maintenance.

Its secondary mission is to provide the same services to residents of the Eastern Oklahoma region.

Useful Information

CLASS DESCRIPTION: Students study the structure and function, growth and reproduction, metabolism, genetics, ecology, and diversity of microorganisms including prokaryotes, unicellular eukaryotes, and viruses.  

Prerequisite: BIOL 1013/1011 Introductory Biology I Lecture and Lab and CHEM 1223/1231 General Chemistry II Lecture and Lab.
Co-requisite: BIOL 3224L Microbiology Lab.
