About Us

Useful Information

CLASS DESCRIPTION: Students will explore operations management concepts and practices to design, analyze and improve operational capabilities and apply them to a broad range of domains and industries. Quantitative problem solving and spreadsheet analysis will support conceptual learning focused on managing business processes, forecasting, capacity and location planning, inventory management, quality control, and supply chain issues.

Credit Hours: 3
Prerequisite: BADM 3933 Business Statistics with a minimum grade of C.
Cross-listed: TECH 3943 Principles of Operations Management
Note: Credit cannot be earned in both MGMT 3213 Principles of Operations Management and TECH 3943 Principles of Operations Management
