About Us

The primary mission of the Library is to support the educational, research, and outreach objectives of the University by:

  • organizing and providing access to information resources, both on-site and through remote access, and
  • promoting the necessary condition for their effective use, organization, and maintenance.

Its secondary mission is to provide the same services to residents of the Eastern Oklahoma region.

Learning Objectives

At the end of this library instruction session:

  1. The student will be able to access relevant database resources and identify the differences between them in terms of access and content.
  2. The student will be able to identify services available through the library.
  3. The student will be able to understand the benefits of utilizing Boolean logic when searching.
  4. The student will be able to utilize filters for limiting their search results.

Useful Information

CLASS DESCRIPTION: Basic principles of cell biology including metabolism, macromolecular structure and function, and cellular structure and function. Lecture and laboratory. Prerequisites: BIOL 1123, CHEM 1223, 1231.
