Research & Clinical Databases
CINAHL Complete
stands for Cumulative Index to Nursing & Allied Health Literature. Core research tool that contains full text of 1,400 journals and citations in more than 5,300 journals. Contains over 4.5 million records dating back to 1937 and is accredited with distinction by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Accreditation Program
ClinicalKey
provides access to authoritative medical information at all levels from topic overview to evidence-based data in one search. Contains full text of over 1,000 books and 500 journals published by Elsevier in all medical specialties as well as images and videos in Procedures Consult
MEDLINE
is the premier database from the National Library of Medicine. Contains journal articles from 1946 to present in medicine, nursing, health care system, and allied health care practice, education, and research. We have access to MEDLINE in Clinical Key and Ovid
PsycINFO
includes over 1,800 professional journals, chapters, books, reports, theses and dissertations, published internationally. Additionally, there are more than 8 million cited references in 185,000 journal articles, books, and book chapters
Education Full Text
contains full text of 350 journals in education and special education back to 1996
Science Direct
is a full text scientific database produced by Elsevier. It contains journal articles from over 2,500 journals and chapters from almost 20,000 books. You can browse publications by subject or title
Joanna Briggs Institute
is an international research organization that produces the JBI database of evidence summaries, systematic reviews, and other documents to support evidence-based practice in nursing and allied health care
Cochrane Systematic Reviews
are produced by the Cochrane Collaboration, a highly respected international research group that promotes evidence-based practice in all medical specialties
UpToDate
offers synoptic, evidence-based information for fast, convenient use at the point of care. Participating clinicians and physicians review the available literature, latest evidence, and provide care recommendations
Health and Psychosocial Instruments
identifies tests, questionnaires, and rating scales in health and psychosocial sciences
National Library of Medicine
provides access to hundreds of databases covering a wide range of biomedical information resources

Journals published by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) can be accessed from the

contains full text of leading medical and health sciences books from the McGraw-Hill clinical library as well as textbooks and handbooks from the Lange educational library in both basic and clinical sciences

contain full text drug monographs for the health care professional and the patient of all FDA approved drugs. You can search by generic or brand name, indications, or contraindications and access handy tools, calculators, and tables
Consumer Health
MEDLINEPlus
is the National Institutes of Health’s web site for patients and families. It is produced by the National Library of Medicine and contains information about diseases, conditions, and wellness issues. Information is comprehensive, well-written, current, reliable, and features links to videos, medical research, and clinical trials. It is the most widely used consumer information resource in major hospitals and health care centers
ClinicalKey
is produced by Elsevier and includes patient education handouts that are clearly written and illustrated, current, and peer reviewed by health care experts
Joanna Briggs Institute
provides evidence-based consumer information sheets for patients that are easy to read
Access Medicine
provides comprehensive patient education materials in pdf format for adults and children. Includes separate handouts for common conditions and drugs and mediciness
