• American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (http://www.asha.org) is a resource for ASHA members, persons interested in information about communication disorders, and for those wanting career and membership information.

• Council for Exceptional Children's Information Center on Disabilities and Gifted Education (http://ericec.org/)
  Formerly the ERIC Clearinghouse on Disabilities and Gifted Education, this site focuses on the professional literature, information, and resources relating to the education and development of persons of all ages who have disabilities and/or who are gifted.

• LD OnLine (http://www.ldonline.org/) is a national educational service of public television station WETA in Washington, D.C. It is operated in association with the Coordinated Campaign for Learning Disabilities and is made possible by generous support from Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes®. LD OnLine offers online services and produces video programs dedicated to improving the lives of children and adults with learning disabilities and ADHD.

• National Center to Improve Practice in Special Education Through Technology, Media and Materials (http://www2.edc.org/NCIP/) includes discussions on technology use for students with disabilities, online workshops, and special education and technology resources.

• Special Education Resources on the Internet (SERI) (http://seriweb.com/) this is a huge site with an enormous listing of special education sites.
