(918) 444-3235 The Circulation Department is the central hub for most materials to be checked out to students, faculty/staff and guests. The circulation desk is located at the back of the library, at the north end of the building. Services available include checking out and renewing material, placing holds, increasing print limits, lost & found, and other general assistance. Borrowing Privileges Renewal Policy Book Returns Fines/Replacement Costs Lost & Found OKShare Services for Students Services for Faculty/Staff Services for Guests Services for Distance Ed Borrowing Privileges: Circulating items may be checked out by students and faculty/staff who present a valid NSU or photo ID. Guests may also check out materials by becoming a special borrower of the library. A Social Security number and second form of ID are required for this service. RenewalPolicy: Library items may be renewed provided they are not recalled, on hold, or reserve items. The maximum number of renewals are: Undergraduate students--five; Special Borrowers (Guests)--two; Faculty/Staff and Graduate students--two semesters. Renewals can be done in person, by phone at (918) 444-3235, or via email. Book Returns: Book drops are located at the circulation and ILL desks. After hours, materials may be returned to the outside book drop located at the south side of the building. Fines/Replacement Costs: Replacement costs for unreturned materials will be assessed to the patron's account with the business office. Patrons will be unable to check out items until overdue materials are either returned or paid for. Lost items which have been paid for and later returned will be re-credited to the borrower's account. Lost and Found: Lost and found items are held at the circulation desk (918-444-3235). Print Limits: Students are provided a 400 page print limit in the library at the start of each semester. If a student runs out of pages, additional pages may be purchased at the circulation desk for $5.00 for 100 pages or 5 cents per page. Interlibrary Loan: Interlibrary Loan services are available for obtaining materials from other libraries. Back to top. Reference material – Materials can not be checked out unless permission is given by a resource coordinator. Audio visual – one week Reserve Collection – varies Family of Faculty/Staff may also check out library materials. Print Limits: Faculty and Staff are provided a 400 page print limit in the library at the start of each semester. If a faculty/staff person runs out of pages, additional pages may be purchased at the circulation desk for $5.00 for 100 pages or 5 cents per page. Services for Guests: Special Borrower privileges are available to guest patrons who are not affiliated with the University, as well as OK Share and Great Expectations. Special borrower records must be renewed annually. Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery services are available to Distance Education students. Interlibrary Loan allows students to request materials from other libraries; Document Delivery provides for materials to be delivered to the student's home.
